für Länder wie Ägypten und Saudi Arabien. Da bringt die Aussage der
deutschen Bundesregierung: "Keine Rüstungsexporte nach Saudi Arabien"
wenig.

Performance und Verteidigung, und es gäbe keinen Raum für Kompromisse.
Und die deutsche Politik?
Sie hält sich formal nicht zuständig für Exporte deutscher Unternehmen aus dem Ausland. Dabei wäre es durchaus möglich, die Rechtslage zu ändern. Der Wissenschaftliche Dienst des Bundestags hat vor kurzem festgestellt: Ein Gesetz könnte festschreiben, dass deutsche Behörden ihre Zustimmung erteilen müssen, wenn Deutsche im Ausland Rüstungsgüter mitentwickeln oder produzieren. Dadurch würden derartige Geschäfte zumindest erschwert. Doch dies wäre im Bundestag derzeit wohl nicht mehrheitsfähig.
